23 Jul Cultural Week
This week we are featuring one of our volunteers and students each day to show what is happening in CooperarPerú.
Our volunteer for Monday is named Bart and is from Holland. Today he prepared an activity for the students so they could get to know Holland better. Bart likes the culture, students, and language of Peru. He says ¨It is much better to be a volunteer in Peru rather than a tourist because you experience the culture and people on a much deeper level¨. He is staying for six weeks.
Stefany is our student of the day. She is 10 years old and has been coming to CooperarPerú for a year and 3 months. She loves to read and is always in the library. She likes CooperarPerú because there are lots of volunteers to meet and learn from.
